The 36cm Oval Plate is available in our core colour range, it’s the perfect shape and size for use as a dinner party serving platter or a carving tray.
The Oval Plate is 36cm in length and 28cm in width.
Oval Plates are sold individually. Available in Classic White with a Blue rim, Classic White with a Red rim and Classic White with a Grey rim.
The 36cm length leaves plenty of room for a full roast, and the 28cm width means it doesn't dominate the whole table. I've used it for both a dinner party platter and a carving tray, and it handles both beautifully. The core colour range made it easy to match my existing dishes.
36cm is genuinely the sweet spot—it's held a full roast and still left room for carving without dripping off the edges. The oval shape makes it feel much more elegant than a standard round platter, and the 28cm width fits neatly in our cabinet.
We've used it as a carving tray three weekends in a row and the 36cm length handles a full roast without anything sliding off the edges. The oval shape actually makes it easier to fit on our crowded dinner table than a round platter would, and the color range matched our stoneware perfectly.
