The pillarbox red is such a cheerful pop of color on my kitchen counter, and the steel base is heavy enough that it doesn't wobble even when I'm slicing a tall layer cake. I've already used it twice for birthdays and it makes the whole table feel more special.
The tarragon color is even richer in person, and the wide surface held a three-tier dessert spread without a wobble. Assembly took me two minutes, and the heavy-weight steel makes it feel properly substantial on the table.
I was a bit nervous the steel would feel flimsy, but this thing has some real heft to it. The tarragon green is such a unique, earthy color, and the wide surface gave my three-layer cake plenty of breathing room for decorating. It’s become the first thing people comment on at every party.
